Lisa Wysocky, Steven Womack, and Jaden Terrell are a trio of crime fiction writers and master instructors with a mission to help aspiring, emerging, and experienced writers hone their craft and build their writing careers. We teach live and online courses and workshops and are available, together and separately, for speaking engagements.
Lisa Wysocky is an award-winning author, editor, equine clinician, and motivational speaker who also trains horses for and consults with therapeutic riding program. Her passion for writing and speaking led to a second run at college where she studied journalism. She recently completed filming the movie adaptation of her first Cat Enright novel, The Opium Equation.
Edgar and Shamus Award-winning author Steven Womack created the groundbreaking Music City Murders series, which was the first series to put Nashville on the map as a setting for the mystery genre. He is also the author of a number of other novels, including the New York Times Notable Book Murphy’s Fault.
Shamus award finalist Jaden Terrell is the author of the Nashville-based Jared McKean private detective series and the upcoming Marley the Great cozy cat mysteries. Her short stories have appeared in multiple anthologies, and she is a contributor to Tarcher/Penguin’s Now Write Mysteries. a collection of writing exercises for crime fiction writers.
